By making it clear that mindfulness is simply bringing active awareness to how we choose to respond to anything that comes our way, Elaine will show you how practicing mindfulness can easily fit into your life.
“Mindfulness can help us notice how our habits and points of view can potentially disrupt our abilities to be free, be happier, more confident, and less controlled by our external or internal circumstances.
Mindfulness offers us choice rather than
making us feel like a prisoner of life's challenges. In my practice, I seek to demystify mindfulness by helping students see its practical applications in everyday life. ”

What the Heck is Mindfulness Anyway?

Mindfulness is a way to bring greater wakefulness and attention to both the ordinary and extraordinary details of daily life. It is increasingly utilized by employers and employees on the job and in their personal lives to help build resilience and improve attention, focus and performance on top of a sense of well-being. Many high-end employers now incorporate mindfulness practices into the workplace as a way to alleviate stress and grow productivity, as well as to attract top talent looking for careers with a good work-life balance.
These companies currently include Google, Intel, Aetna, General Mills and Goldman Sachs.
